Eddie, I am running Ubuntu on a first-generation Acer Aspire One:
Atom N260 - 1.6 GHz
1.5 GB RAM
Intel GMA 950
No problems running YouTube, but 720p stutters, could be the Firefox 3.6, or that I'm using Compiz, or most likely both. GMA 3150 should be more than comfortable running 720p though. Coloured keyboard looks silly, but probably helps with colour-coding, making it easier to type.
