The amd r9 280 vs Gtx 760

Ihey guyzz i need to buy a gpu.....which one do u think is better? the 280 or the 760...?

r9 280 is better, it's pretty much between the 760 and 770. However if it doesnt cost too much more, get a gtx 770 or r9 280x.

the 760's bout 20000ish....the 280 is 22000ish...and the r9 280x is 24000ish(in Rs.) the costs in india are too much..the 760s bout 269$ which is almost 16000..🙁 idk the rates are too much..770 is 34000! Unbelievable./...🙁

Right now i have a 1600x900 mopnitor but later i will change to a 1080p one.
I dont want to get a costly graphics card rite away...so im gonna go with the lower ones..

The R9 280x is probably the best price/performance out of all the cards you listed.
All of them will play games very well at 1080p. The 280x and 770 being the best.
Comes down to hope much you want to spend.
760<280<770=280x.

GTX 760 is ideal for 900p
R9 270x is littel bit less powerful than GTX 760, also ideal for 900p
Note: Both GTX 760 and R9 270x also works fine in 1080p in "Ultra Settings" with >40 fps in most latest games(you will get <60 fps in "High Settings" or "Medium Settings" with both cards)

R9 280x is ideal for 1080p( you can go "Ultra in Settings" with most of latest games <60 fps)

If you consider playing next gen games like Watch Dogs,Battlefield 4,Thief etc., then consider getting R9 280x.
Get the SAPPHIRE or ASUS version graphic card, Asus has high base clock(Both are good).

Thanx a lot man!! this is the solution i needed to know...anyways im not a "pro" gamer and all...so i jus want at least high settings at 1080p...so i think ill stick wid the 760 itself....thnx a lot!!

Realy? ideal for 900p? Cmon dude atleast fact check. My hd 7790 is ideal for 900p. A 270x and anything better is ideal and will never falter in 1080p
