Some pretty, some downright frightening! I'm curious as to how they got that gremlin out of her cave and in the light of day... yes I mean you Mrs. AMD. Only joking of course, good to see an article with more pictures than reading, right up my alley.

See now this guy gets it, good job there buddy. And grasshopper80, writing stuff like that is exactly what makes people look like idiots (the one writing it) but also the ones who agree with it.
 
Ok, so I'm looking at pictures of women in skimpy outfits at the top of the page, I then look down and see a bunch of idiots flaming about the feminist movement... can someone explain to me why we cannot simply enjoy the pictures?
 
You have to remember that GEEKS attend these events, the women don't have to be HOT, they just have to have nice smiles. A GEEK will die for a smile!
 
Picture 11 seems to be a ThermalTake representative. This is based on the decal on her right arm and the "Tt" on the bracer.

Emily: Yes, it would be fair to add beefcake to the mix, but the purpose of the "booth bait" is to attract those bottom feeders known as tech reporters to buzz around the booth and make it appear there's a large crowd interested in the booth. 🙂 Sticking a Chippendale dancer out there is going to thin the crowd considerably.

IMHO, Intel scored highest with their booth bait. ThermalTake's Amazon warrior would have scored as well, but that hair is so high it looks like a wig (and probably is).

Of course, you don't want the booth bait so hot that the reporters IGNORE the booth and just oogle the bait.

I think your definition of "babes" is much looser than my definition. Other than the police women I would say they look more like pan-faced housewives.
 
I think Toms also forgets that most geeks have easy access to porn and would prefer that they focus their energies on getting out the info on truly interesting geek topics, like technology, hardware, renewable energy, science as it relates to trends, etc.

For a company of this size and reach, they really do seem to underperform.
 
Oooohhhh! Tom's has average looking women in space suits from the 70's, Anandtech has Nehalem benchmarks, come on guys...
 
Wow this is so lame! Those outfits are terrible and the whole idea is so tacky. They really need to clean this up. Some thoughts: casual/proffesionally dressed good looking men and women instead.

It is absurd as it is right now. So sexist, so vulgar, so tacky. If you're gonna be offensive, can you at least make the girls super hot? XFX comes closer at least, not surprising as they always have the very best looking products.

You don't know what your talking about Gochi! These girls are definitely hot! Bet you wouldn't turn a date down with any of them. As far as outfits go uhmm yeah this is an I.T related site not a fashion site. lemme guess you play warcraft ..... alot. This is male dominated field, the more the women the better and not just cuz they are pretty either!

Unimpressive talent. Those are not "babes", but I guess any female that is remotely attractive is a "babe" to most dorks at that show.
 
You guys who say intel girl (pic3) is not hot must be living in a fantasy world. Look around town, do you see gals like intel girl walking around? (if so, where the heck do you live!!! lol)

Well if males were paid as lucratively as females to show up half-naked and promote stuff the other sex is interested in you would certainly get a ton of pictures.
But I guess it wouldn't be as interesting for you if a half-naked male held up say latest lipstick as it is interesting for us to see females showing off the latest hardware.
