[SOLVED] The black glue?

Typing this from my phone, as I'm currently in the middle of direct die mounting my cpu.

Perhaps an oversight on my part, but how does one remove the black glue?
Been at it for a while with a q-tip and alcohol, and it stubbornly refuses to come off in places.

A razer is what you use to remove the black adhesive/caulk from the PCB's surface but be careful not to cut into the PCB. Read more here.

Finally back on my PC, so project successful. 🆒
Now to do thermal tests and see if it's mounted on correctly...
