I loved the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games but I hated the escort missions. Heard "abort mission, mission a failure" way too many times.

The lack of Rebel Assault 2 is a pretty glaring omission. It was the first time Lucasfilm allowed anyone to film new footage for Star Wars since Return of the Jedi.

Is there an upvote X1000 for this post?
I LOVED playing DF2 online! using msn gaming zone and using mod's from musassi's temple website.
Super pissed about Kyle in the new movie, especially since his story ties into Mara Jades story, that ties into Lukes, but whatever..

I think the write up for KOTOR II looks wrong. Appears to be for Star Wars, the first game mentioned on the list.

Even though this is mainly nostalgia talking, my favourite was Dark Forces II. At the time the graphics were amazing, and the freedom both with your gameplay choices (Force powers, tactics, etc) and the story made it special.

One of my favorites missing from this was a PS2 exclusive. Bounty Hunter. It was a FPS/Roleplay where you were Jango Fett taking place between ep1 and ep2. The story showed how he got slave1, began working for Dookoo w/o knowing it and helped in killing a would be sith that was a threat to Dookoo. For the time it had amazing graphics, really cool cut scenes, and good story to boot. Played and replayed many times.

TBH, it would be truly difficult to really do a complete list of SW games. From PC to consoles to handhelds and now phone/tablets the list is probably closer to 100 or more. Nice attempt though.

Just do your homework before getting and read the most recent reviews. Most older ones are dos based w/ built in dosbox type emulators but some engines won't go above 720p or less. Some still don't properly work with newer controllers but w/ a little effort can be up and running.

I suspect if he included SW games outside of PC range the article would be TL;DR

"The game uses a wide range of weapons ranging from plasters and grenades to a lightsaber and force powers. The game uses a wide range of weapons ranging from plasters and grenades to a lightsaber and force powers."

I thought that plasters were used to patch up the wounded, not as weapons?

I believe the game has you shoot ethanol at the storm troopers cause them to get "Plastered" so they just named the weapon "Plaster" o.o

Nice catch though.
