The Evil Within No Sound

Hi Guys, Please help.
i have a problem with The Evil Within PC Game, I get no sound when launching the game, no sound in intro or game play. i am running Windows 8 Pro 64bit.
P.S: TThis game had sound when i had Windows 7 Pro 64bit. i also tried uninstall and reinstall. thank you

I did try that, also as administrator but nothing works, I did a direct x update, latest graphics card drivers, i even try to use hdmi sound instead of my logitech z cinema 2.1.
