released (about two years ago). Got the first as well then. When I'm

about the FMU update:

a) it's yet impossible to play Chelsea with Roman signing player you don't
want like Ronaldinho and Adriano 🙂 (have quite the game after 4 weeks)
b) São Paulo won Libertadores and if it is to be right they should face
Liverpool instead of Once Caldas
c) FMU Utd has such fans base that I gave a loud laugh when in a FA
Throphy game 127k people came to watch them! 🙂

What? If you explain what the problem is? YOU can't win without buying?
because what you wrote sounds like you are saying that Roman abramovich is
buying players for you without you trying to sign them (which doesn't happen
at all in FM). and if you can't win with Chelsea (and i CAN with my update)
it's you not the update.

Erm, But irl Once Caldas are playing liverpool not sao paulo.... which is
why Once Caldas are playing liverpool in the update.......

Sao are in the WORLD championships with Liverpool Saprissa, Sydney etc....
but the "super cup" between S/america and Europe is Caldas v Liverpool. Im
pretty sure, but if you can find proof saying Sao v Liverpool is happening
this season i'll gladly change it.

I've started the game and bought only Adriano myself, that was enough for
me, but Roman bought also Ronaldinho and Ronaldo, that was too much, as I
intended to play a 442 without place to Lampard and Ronaldinho.
This makes the squad unhappy, so it annoys me, not a matter of win or
loose, just the piss out of it.
And if I was not clear: Roman buys without me wanting to buy indeed!!!
Check yr sources as it HAPPENS!

I thought there won't happen more Super Cups, and this game SPFC x Pool
would only happen as we jumped one season at the update.
Anyway I don't care, thought I was helping.

Well, your update is working great, and I put in my own team, Rock &
Roll F.C. They`re 2 points behind arsenal after 11 games. It`s me,
Arsenal and Man Utd up there...and Chelsea doing ok at no 10....

Can`t wait for FMU Utd to move up through the system. Damn, now I have
to play several seasons...

Ive NEVER once in FM and as I play the game for a good 2-3 hours most nights
that's a pretty big "Never" i've never had a chairman BUY a player, without
me. NEVER.

(in case i didn't get that point accross NEVER!!! lol)

I guess it could be fixxed if you EDITED the data yourself Typed Abramovich
in, and took down his "Interference" stat.?

btw once at another club the chairman bought a player as he was
unsatisfied that I had not upgraded our squad under his request, so it's
not so rare 🙂

Ahhhh is that why they buy?

I usually buy/purchase/loan 40-80 players in my first season LOL (ask the
guys they'll back me up) so i guess that is probably why i never see the
chairman stepping in.

I like to be conservative at first season when managing a big club, but it
seems some chairmans do not share my view 🙂

players and some on free and then some for money..
