The Gigabyte GTX 1070 Mini-ITX

So the question is; should I get the Gtx 1070 Mini-ITX (by Gigabyte)[I can get it for 350€]?

I have it, got it on a discount at the time. Works great, no complaints about its performance. Only thing to keep in mind is that it is tall, taller than normal IMO.

How loud is it, most of the reviews I've read have said that it's pretty loud, because of the small fan. The fact that it's tall shouldn't be a problem, I have the BitFenix Prodigy case.

It's quiet as far as I've noticed, actually thought it was quieter than the 980ti it was replacing. I've had it in two cases an Air 240 and now a Node 202. In the node at least my CPU is way, way louder so it drowns it out regardless of how loud/quiet you might perceive it to be. It's certainly not blower style loud.

Oh by the by in terms of performance I found it to be just a few FPS slower than my 980ti, which was one of the higher end models. So it's a good bang for your buck, especially if you need a short card length.

Why did you even replace the card, when you had high-end 980ti?

I needed the power savings (150w) to make my setup work with the Node 202. i7-6700k and Gtx 1070 all on a 450w PSU.
