Don't put a down payment if you're planning on leasing. If you can afford the maintenance, and the insurance (Depending on what car you get) by all means, get one.

I would still say a Civic, or a Corolla would be better choices as first cars.

With the good experience I've had with Hyundai, I would not hesitate to recommend one, as a first car or otherwise. For the money, they are well-equipped, and the money is typically the lowest or among the lowest of the relevant competition.
On the subject of computer systems, another one of my reviews is up. B85 is a decent chipset for the average person.

DO NOT buy a used German car. That is the worst thing you could do for a first car. I have owned arguably the most reliable german car ever with arguably the most reliable engine in it and it still cost me an arm and a leg and was stupidly unreliable.

Get a Civic, Elantra, Corolla, Accord, Camry, Sonata, Sentra, Maxima (NOT CVT).

No high horsepower does not mean high torque. For example, my Honda from Highschool made 350whp. The car was gutted and weighed under 3000lbs. However it barely made 260 torque because it was a small displacement engine. The car was NOT super fast from 0-40 (where torque matters) but it was VERY fast from 40-120 because at that point the power/weight ratio mattered more.

When people talk about having a fast car, they usually mean either highway pull fast (like my honda) or from a dig fast (like a drag car). Both are fast, but just different. One relies on top end power and not on torque, while the other relies on torque and not so much top end.

It is all about usability. For example, back when I had my honda and street raced it I did everything I could to maximize what little low end torque I could. (street racing is done from a dig, or stand-still start) The car had slicks on the front, and very stiff rear suspension so there would not be any "squat" which translates to wasted torque in a FWD car. Cars like mustangs would beat me out of the whole every time, but around the 100-200ft mark, I would start to pull on them and usually pass on by because I had a substantially better power/weight ratio. The other side of this would be my current car (mazdaspeed6). I do not street race this car at all. It is also a turbocharged 4 banger like the honda, but I have it setup very differently. It is on street tires and normal suspension. I have an aftermarket tune on it to make more boost. Stock is 15PSI and I make 21PSI. This extra boost translates to the turbo taking LONGER to spool up. This means I can drive around the city and commute and never get into boost. This is good for engine life and gas mileage. BUT I have all kinds of crazy power if I ever want it. Someone in their 911/supercharged mustang/ Camaro/ whatever thinks they are hot sh!t on the highway? All I have to do is drop 2 gears, brake boost, and boom I have 200 more horsepower all of a sudden and as soon as I release the brake, I'm gone. It is perfect for me. Easy to drive around town, but very fast when I want it.

Agreed. If you have to put more than $500 down on a lease, you are getting ripped off badly.

Well[, I saw an Altezza with Decals on the front window(covering the passenger side), A TRD badge, blue rims, a wierd looking shifter(automatic) and a large exhaust... hmmm...

Also saw a Beetle with a Glasspack...

Whoops, So tired. I took a picture of the front.... I'll upload it when I wake up... It was also very beat up...

Here's the picture...

Rims are this powder blue with weird color changing lugnuts... One is missing on the rear tire. The back features a large exhaust and badging that says "Altezza". Shifter was like this, but more elongated.

I would have taken more pictures but I was starving so I went to Del Taco(closest thing and I have the coupon, two for one burrito)... I sure as hell wasn't going to McDonalds and I didn't have enough money for either Jack in the Box or Bakers(read 1.75 for my bus money).

I think someone got into the router because the password was changed. I did a few hard resets, and changed all passwords. But when I go to the client list in the internal IP, it shows a few hex strings along with two copies of my main computer and the phones...

^^
Don't like how the back rims are angled like that, but hey, people have different tastes in looks.

Thinking about painting my case. It has a fair share of scratches, so I want to put a brand new look into it. I'm debating between plasti dip, or actual paint.

It is called camber. Negative camber to be specific. It doesn't do much on a car like this but look good and be fore "style". On a RWD race car some rear negative camber helps kill oversteer coming out of a corner.

Use paint. Plastidip doesn't work well for cases. It is rubberized and any screw you put in will grab the paint and pull it off.

I think the main downside to paint, is how long it'll take to complete, and once it's on, it'll be pretty hard to fix mistakes, or remove.

How come? It's not durable? It's not like I'm always screwing in things like fans all the time lol. Plasti dip looks like it''s pretty easy to put on, and remove if I don't like the colour after a while.

Any single screw you put in will grab the coating and pull it off. I plastidipped a case and it was a nightmare.

It is not at easy to remove as you might think. You'll never get it all off the inside of a PC case. Too many small crevices.

Source: Have personally plasti-dipped PC case, Fans, car wheels, car grilles, numerous other car parts.

Ah, that sucks. I'll have to see how much paint i'll need, and how much it'll cost. I could just buy a new case with the colour I want if the costs will be high. Not to mention, the front panel of the enthoo luxe has plastic, so I don't know how the colour will match with the steel.

NCIX has the best deals at the moment.

The 750W B2 (semi modular) is $45 after $30 MIR. The G2 is $85 after $20 MIR.

Hmmm....I Would not "tilt" (or whatever its called) the tires/rims on any car I get. ONLY thing I would do is maybe change the rims, tint the window, new exhaust, etc etc...but nothing really MAJOR to the outside of the car....
