I switched my 4070ti back to a 3060, but Windows 11 can’t recognize the graphics card.

With no graphics card and using AMD Vega 8, everything works fine.

With the 3060, the system can’t find the card, but the graphics card fan is working, and the PC turns on and enters Windows 11.

Switching to the 4070ti results in the same situation.

Switching to a low-profile card, the 1050 lp (which doesn’t need a power cable, just PCIe power supply), Windows found the card.

I thought maybe the power supply was dead.

I switched to a brand new power supply, exactly the same as the previous one.
The 3060 and 4070 work fine on my other systems.

What could be wrong?

My guess is PCIE is fine, since it can find the 1050 lp.

power supply is fine, since I tried a brand new one.

motherboard is fine, since it can turn on and enter windows with just the vega 8

the cards should be ok, since they are working on other systems.

Also tried take out the battery on the board, reset bios. Nothing works

Can you clarify this a bit more ? What do you mean it doesn't recognize the GPU ? What exactly does the Windows "Device Manager" entry say ?

Microsoft basic display adapter ? What about the BIOS entry ?
device manger doesn't have any information about the 3060

I can enter the bios with vega gpu. hdmi through vega. But no signal with any nomal graphics card. Only with signal with Low Profile card.
