The New Ivy-E / Haswell-E Information Thread

I have heard that Intel is dropping the x79 chipset and going with the x99 chipset instead, as well as rumors saying they are going to skip Ivy-E and go Directly to Haswell-E. If you have any other Info please add it to the thread.

Until Intel releases something regarding their next round of updates, anything you hear will be nothing but speculation.
If you are looking to upgrade now, do not pay to much mind to these rumors and simply get the best platform you can afford; anything current will treat you quite nicely for some years.
