The number of processors I have is 8, but in the msconfig boot window in the Advanced options, it only shows 1 processor

Hey guys, so i just bought a new laptop 2 weeks ago, nothing was wrong until it got slow so suddenly, I checked and there was only 1 processor enabled, I tried to change it but the options were only "1" Thank you for those who can help! ^_^

How many cores is task manager showing? Go to the performance tab and select the cpu if it is not already selected.

In the task manager, it only shows 1 core, my laptop is an Asus VivobookS15
