[SOLVED] The numpad driver disabled my keyboard

So I have an Asus rog strix G531 laptop. It worked just fine, until one day the keyboard stopped working. I tried troubleshooting and realized that it might be the numpad driver. Here's the kicker though - my laptop does not have a numpad. When I revert to the older, pre-problems version of the system, the numpad driver is not even there. When I uninstall it and restart, the keyboard works just fine, but after that use, the pc always updates and the numpad is back. Anyone know what to do?

disable any auto-update application(s) running.
you can manually check and download any necessary drivers as needed for the future.
