Question the power cable from monitor/computer

The power cable that goes from the computer and the power cable that goes from the monitor
Are these different or can they both be used for computer or monitor?

Assuming you are talking about those generic 3 pin cables, they are generally interchangeable.
You can look on each cable to check their rated amperage, as well as looking at their overall wire gauge to decide for sure.

Yes they look kinda the same. some cables are longer though
