What would be the right power supply (Wattage) to buy for my pc?

Intel i5-4670 Quad Core 3.4 GHz
Processor.
ASUS H87-PLUS Motherboard.
G.SKILL PC 8GB 1600 CL9 KIT (2x4GB) RipjawsX 8GBXM Memory.
ASUS NVIDEA GeForce GTX 650 / 1024 MB GDDR 5 SDRAM/ 128 Bit Video Card.
Seagate 3.5 inch hard disk 1.0TB / 64MB Buffer / SATA 6GB/s / 7200RPM HDD.
Sandisk SSD - 64 GB SSD.
LiteOn Lite-On IHAS124-04 Optical Drive.
Zalman Z9 Plus Case. (120mm fan LED)

As this is my first build, would this be a solid build for a pc? It'll be mostly used for gaming and other daily stuff. Yet I plan to dabble into Blender / GIMP again a bit more.

Thanks in advance!

P.S.: I'm not very sure if the Graphics Card would fit into my motherboard.

Here's the recommended amount of power with that graphics card:

Geforce GTX 650 - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum

and yes it will fit in that motherboard.

I'd recommend this one:

the 650 isn't the best for gaming, if you can afford it, I'd get the 650 ti boost, its performance is much better

A better fitted powersupply for it:

OK wait. So this is for gaming.

What is your budget?
Where are you buying?
What resolution is your monitor??

I ask these because you have a very poor graphics card choice. Its weak.
Most likely you need to go for an 6300 AMD build with a more powerful graphics card.

The AMD FX 6300 isn't as good as the Core i5-4670K.

My budget is €800,- (incl. Operating System (Windows 8 €99,-)).
I'm buying from a store in the Netherlands.
1280 x 960 is my resolution.

Hmm. I'll see if I can get a slighty better graphics card that'd fit my budget.
I'm running a GeForce GT 9500, so that says something about how old this pc is :/

1. If this is for gaming, then you are spending too much on CPU and too less on the GPU

2. For gaming you should at least get a 660

3. FX 6300 + 660 should be more powerful for gaming.

4. For a build with FX 6300 + 660 or a 4670 + 650 any 500W+ PSU is sufficient.

5. Better spend more money on graphics card. Your graphics card is bottlenecking the CPU. Better go for FX 6300 + Nvidia 660. It makes up a much better pair.

You don't say? :pfff:

Give us the website? Unless they don't have one. In which case you are likely overpaying, does SOUND like it since 800 is a decent budget.

Well, it's actually the cheapest site I've come across so far. From alternate.nl > paradigit.nl > maxict.nl
Which is now my current one: Max Ict

I have thought about buying parts from newegg.com (USA), but since I'll have to pay extra because of import rights, the price that comes on top of the money I already pay for the parts + shipping, could be around 1/4th of the whole price.

I'll save €242,88 excl. OS (Windows 8) and €144 incl. OS.
Would this still affect the performance for rendering / making 3D models later on? Like I said, I might dabble into Blender again. I'm already using GIMP (Open Software for photoshop)

And yeah.. I've seen better search systems, though they provide good, solid information about the product. While Alternate does have the best search system of the sites, it's the most expensive + it has the worst product information of the three.

P.S.: I'm not planning on Over Clocking my system. Since I'm new to building my own PC, I don't think it'll be a smart move to start over clocking right away. And the AMD seems to excel when over clocking.

That's amazing. I picked Intel mostly because of my disease called "Fanboylism" it's quite contagious..
And most people said that it's better for gaming. And doesn't get very hot.
So, for rendering I wouldn't notice any difference, what about gaming? (I might even get an even better graphics card, for the money I'm saving because of you! :bounce:)

Well Intel is better for gaming in general, and if you are spending more than your current budget, then its worth it, but ONLY if you are not on a tight budget.
Considering that by getting the I5 you end up LOSING out on gaming performance because you can not get a proper GPU. Making the better CPU irrelevant.

Makes sense?

Yup, it does. Thanks. So, with these specs 520W should be fine?
