The same SSID for 11b AP and 11g AP

I have 2 WLAN routers , one is 11b and another is 11g.
I connect them to my LAN and setup the same SSID to them.
Unfortunately, My note-PC as WLAN client can't detect both of APs at all.
From my experience, note-PC would detect 2 APs which are 11b.
How's difference between 11b-11g and 11b-11g combinations ???

No difference. Well the modulation type to move the data is different but that's not relevant to a client associating to an AP.
