News The U.S. Navy is selling MSRP Nvidia RTX GPUs — 5070, 5080, and even 5090 spotted at Navy Exchange

The Navy Exchange is where I bought my first computer in 85. A C128 and 1571 disk drive. I had to one up my older brother. He had a C64 and 1541 drive. Of course, I only used my C128 in C64 mode. That started my love of computers.
You could get some decent deals in the Exchange. Nice to see the current Navy folk getting a rare item at list price.

Yeah I've basically given up on ever getting the 5090 at original MSRP. High end GPUs are never going to be decently priced until if/when Ai ever comes crashing down.

I had a family member check and only the 5070 is available. AAFES runs all the exchanges across the military and if NEX has 5080 or 5090 they would be online.

Just checked, AAFES has the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (OOS), for $549.

It's the only video card listed.

AAFES is Army Air Force Exchange System it only runs the Exchange system for the Army and Air Force (Since the Air Force came from the Army they share the same Exchange system.)

You also have ....

NEX for the Navy
MCX for the Marines.
And Lastly the Puddle Pirates get the CGX

If you can shop at one you can shop at them all. If you are a Vet you can use the online services if base/post commanders do not allow vets to shop on base.
