20,000$ to whoever can

Design a system to detect the location of GPS jamming devices. Either hardware or software solutions (particularly those involving use of distributed smartphones) may be acceptable; scalability and robustness are key criteria. If a smartphone app is proposed, Solvers should explain why smartphone users would be motivated to use the proposed app. Technical requirements and description of prior hardware solutions are available in the full description.

This Challenge requires only a written proposal.
 


Now keep in mind Dogman how many people it is taking to make a pair of Google glasses, or motion enabled drilling tools? These arent being made in a garage, these are being made in research facilities by people who make bring in 6 figure incomes with 50 man teams working under them (Im generalizing).

I don't think that is the issue.

The issue I have is that being a part of one of those teams is a pipe dream. Even if it is something society sees as 'revolutionary', the chances of an individual like me being part of that is worse that the lotto.
 
Not really. Opportunity for being part of something comes up in unexpected forms and directions. Some will be small too that will fill your life with excellent experiences.
