There's no way to screw GPU into case.

I recently bought an R7 260x, but my case doesn't have any place where I can screw the card in to secure it. Will it fall off the PCI-e slot if I leave it unscrewed?

i wont risk it,,there must be a place to screw it,,,even low end cases have one

Nope. My case just has the brackets in a flat surface.

I'd say you're fine without the screw then. Most motherboards clip lock the GPU in place, hopefully yours does too. If not,
you'll just have to be aware that it's not secure anytime you plug in or unplug a monitor so you don't unseat the GPU.

In terms of fixing this, there is nothing stopping you matching the thread and drilling a hole. Just bear in mind this will be irreversible should you misjudge it.

That being said, It is a drastic measure and as mentioned above, All cases should come with holes for attaching these cards. It is very strange that one should not
