Hello guys,
Im having a hard time deciding on which thermal paste should I get to repaste my HP OMEN 16.
I have these three options, I dont care abt the budget, I just want a paste that can give the lowest temp. These 3 are available in the region I live.

Even after reading abt these on Reddit, im not sure which one to get. I just want my temps to go down, i live in a relatively hot environment, my max CPU and GPU temps are 101*C and 87*C respectively

Thank You!

Either one will do but when it comes to Arctic's thermal paste, look at the MX-6 instead of the MX-4 as the latter would've been on the shelf longer than the MX-6meaning fresh thermal paste, from the factory).

my max CPU and GPU temps are 101*C and 87*C respectively
Might want to look into undervolting the CPU and GPU. What is the SKU for your HP Omen laptop?

i live in a relatively hot environment
Where would this be?

Moved thread from CPUs section to Cooling section.

Good Day All

I was planning to get 2g of Arctic MX 6 thermal paste for my laptop. It is a HP Victus with Ryzen 5 5600H and a RTX 3050, currently I have been using this for the past two years and now I can see that my laptop is thermal throttling. Before, my laptop use to hit its target 75W TDP but now it only goes to 50W with its max temp of 87*C. I did my research and eventually found out that the MX seems to be the option for me, I wanted to buy Kryonaut but its not that cheap compared to MX 6 and also has a worse longevity (according to the threads that ive read on Reddit). My system does fine on light workloads, while writing this, my CPU is at 56 and GPU at 47. But during heavy workloads such as gaming, both hit their max temps of 101*C and 87*C respectively. I think the only problem rn is my current factory applied thermal paste, as I usually take good care of my laptop and I have opened it multiple times to clean all the vents and fans.
I live in a particularly hot environment, the tempratures in the afternoon can go upto 40*C and that play a major role in my laptop not performing well during the summers.

So I js need an opinion on this,
Thank You!
