Question Thermal Limits in GPU-Z

I bought a lenovo 720s-15ikb with a i7-7700hq and a gtx 1050ti max-q. I already knew there were some throttling issues with the laptop and many people had fixed it pretty easily. The issue was the laptop would underclock the gpu and cpu so that power draw would be under 90W(the power brick is a 90W brick). I undervolted my cpu to -120mv and my gpu to 900mv at 1695mhz. I started playing watch dogs and it was running perfectly well. The gpu stayed at 1709Mhz and the cpu around 3ghz. The temperatures were good with gpu around 68C and cpu around 87C. In GPU-Z, the thermal limits were 85C for the gpu to throttle. I started assassin's creed origins and within a few minutes, the GPU downclocked to 1152 Mhz and the cpu stayed around 3.3 Ghz. I understand that origins is more cpu intensive and this might happen. But the bizzare thing is, in GPU-Z, the thermal limits now changed to 62C. WHAT???? How did the thermal limits change?? Someone please help me resolve this.

Yes, I am on the latest bios version. After i reboot, the temp limits are the old ones, ie 85. I dont get how the limits are dynamically getting changed and reverted back and how i can stop this.
