Hey I've got a question that everyone has heard before, (My current system according to Speccy https://imgur.com/bTmiSxo )

I recently bought a Cryorig H7 Cooler for my cpu as it has been running a little hot under load lately and it is just the stock cpu fan on it. My case currently has 3 be quiet! PURE WINGS 2 120mm Fans (2 roof exhaust and 1 on the floor intake.) and 2 corsair fans a 140mm front intake and a 120mm rear exhaust.

I didn't have the room in my Corsair Carbide series spec 03 blue led mid tower gaming case to stuff a Aio in it. The H7 didn't come with pre applyed thermal paste but a tube of their CP7. Hell the last time I built a computer you could get away with adhesive and a passive heat sink. Considering that this computer is what I use for my work Recording Let's Play videos and Rendering them I really can't afford to have a goof. Sorry for being such a noob, but when you are a month away from paying off the credit card that bought the computer I don't want to brick it at the finish line on something I've never done before.

They recommend what I've see called the card method where you put some paste down and then spread it on the cpu with a card, now that would be great if a card had come with the cooler but no dice, I've seen the rice or pea, the line, the cross, and a few others and now I'm just confused to no end...
