[SOLVED] Thermal Paste inside my cpu socket

I have read a lot of threads and my issue is not solved yet that's why i am starting a new thread ,
i have X99 E WS with i7 5820k ,
its cpu socket pins are so close to each other so i could not find a way to remove thermal paste.
it is stuck inside my cpu socket very badly ,
i don't know if this paste is conductive or non conductive , i am not risking my cpu or mobo so plz give me a solution how can i remove this....

Yeah, that's pretty bad. Even if it's non-conductive you could have signaling issues.
A little rubbing alcohol, q-tips and toothpicks, and a LOT of patience is the only thing that comes to mind but you may just damage it more. Same with compressed air. If you angle compressed air to push the paste to the side (onto paper towels) you may end up just pushing it into the socket more.

The paste may have even already gotten into spots in the socket that will render the MB inoperable the next time power is applied. If it were me I would cut my losses and get a new board. Trying to resurrect this may kill your CPU too.

90% isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush. A SOFT bristled toothbrush, or a cleaning brush with VERY light (NOT stiff) bristles. Dip the brush in the alcohol and with the board slightly inverted so that you can somewhat brush the gunk away from the board and onto newspaper or cardboard laying below it. You must be VERY gentle in order to not damage any of the pins on the motherboard.

It would be very helpful to know what the brand and specific model of paste you used were to determine if it is conductive or not.

I never understand how this even happens, when it does. The CPU should already be installed before you even apply paste to the top of it, so there should be NO way paste can even get INTO the pin bed.

Do NOT use toothpicks or Q-tips, you are a lot more likely to damage the pin bed that way than with a very fine soft bristled brush.

I don't know how, but it's working fine, i tried to remove thermal paste from cpu socket but failed. I reassemble my motherboard and it is working now.

Well, you either got enough of it out to matter or it wasn't conductive. I guess that's all that matters. Hopefully it STAYS working. Glad it worked out though.

Bro is it still working??? I mean i have faced this problem yesterday and i am very confused what to do. I don't wanna fry my Cpu its i7 9th gen

I don't know how, but it's working fine, i tried to remove thermal paste from cpu socket but failed. I reassemble my motherboard and it is working now.
