My case has a rgb controller with three rgb fans, they light up but I can not control the color or connect the motherboard. Does anyone know what’s wrong?

Without full details about your motherboard, case, controller and what fans you are using there is no way to know what's wrong. First guess the controller and fans are not made for your motherboard connections, if you even have an RGB header on the motherboard. They are not all the same.
