I am planning to buy a Thermaltake Litepower Gen 2 650W PSU. I want to know some reviews from you guys. Anyone who has used it would recommend it for gaming (3 hours session twice a day on average) ? Would it be any good for overclocking or would it cause problems? Currently running an i5 2400 + 1050ti. May upgrade to i 7 4790k + 1060 or maybe even 1070/1070ti.

Thermaltale litepowers have always been bad. I would stray away from any new one.

Do you really want the backbone of your pc to be "lite"?
I was getting it with a 2 year warranty so thought it to be a good option. Do you know anything about FSP Hyper K series PSUs ? Also what about Thermaltake RGB SMART series?

Fsp mkes good models and bad ones. Unfortunately i believe the hypers are on thw low end.
Probably finw for a 1050ti, but not worth the risk.

What is your country? I would suggest a seasonic s12 ii.

so the HyperK series cannot be trusted for even a beginner level gaming PC?

Actually I'm in Pakistan and cant order anything online due to some reasons.
