i have a asus a58m-k motherboard with a athlon x4 860k in it, it boot up no problem with my gt 630 (no pin) with my power supply thermaltake smart 630w but when i placed my rx 470d nitro with an 8 pin when i turn on the pc after 5 seconds it just turn off instanly no display nothing. i didn't know why because 630w is enough power to power a rx 470d i didn't know if it'sa compatibilty issue or just my psu.

Solution
The 630watts should be fine, but the smart series from Thermaltake aren't great quality so might well be that the, i guess already older, psu has problems with that gpu.
