I bought a TT TR2-M4 today. I looked at the Coolermaster Aero 7+, but the
box made it look super huge, and it was $10 more.
Well, come to think of it, this TR2-M4 is pretty darn big in itself!
Due to its size and orientation, I'm wondering about it's effectiveness.
The back of the fan is only 1" away from the bottom of my PS. Will that
low clearance play a critical role in its cooling. The air comes in from
the other side which faces downward into the open area of the case.
Should I forget this new style of fan and just go with the convential type
that is much flatter?
Also, how can I test the temperature of my CPU? I've downloaded MBM, but
I'm not sure about the sensor settings. I'd be very curious to see what a
difference the TR2 fan makes over the Vantech Stealth fan I have in the
back of my case.
I thought this "stealth" fan was supposed to be quiet. It's the loudest of
my fans when the TR2 is turned down low, and when my PS fan is on "auto".
