I bought a Thermaltake GF3 1650w PSU from Thermaltake 2 years ago which has a 10 year warranty. So obviously I have 8 years left over. Because I needed my system still running, I bought a 1200 watt PSU to put in my computer while the 1650 watt was being replaced under warranty. They sent me back a brand new in sealed box 1650 watt PSU, which Im selling, because the 1200 watt one in the system now is good enough. I want to recoupe my money from the 1200 watt by selling the 1650 watt.

My question is- if I have the original receipt from Amazon.ca, will that warranty transfer over to the new owners, or are they out of luck? Is there anywhere I can read to confirm this info?

1. 7 years, not 10 years.

2. "The warranty is non-transferable. Only the original customer is covered under the warranty."
