These must-have soldering tools will upgrade your soldering station, and they're all on sale for Amazon Prime Day

I ended up making a DIY solder fume extractor since at the time I couldn't find any good cheap ones, and many Shenzhen market ones we really loud with poor suction compared to building one and using 140mm case fans for suction.

As for a hot air station, I had gotten a cheaper $50 unit, and surprisingly enough when testing with a thermocouple, the calibration was good out of the box, it also has a calibration adjustment.

As for a soldering iron, I am still getting good results with my Hakko FX888D, but I need to get a second soldering iron since I often need to periodically use smaller tips as well and it is really annoying to swap tips with the FX888D.

I personally use the Yihua 995D+ soldering station along with their desoldering pump, they've been working excellently for me.
