Hello everyone!
So I'm looking for a laptop that can run with ease programs like Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros and Grasshoper, while being able to withstand hardcore gaming, for prolongued hours.
To be more specific, I need a laptop that I can take to university and work, that's my main priority. However, I'd like it to be able to run games smoothly once I arrive home. Battery isn't that much of an issue, since I can charge it both at university and home. What I do require, is that it has a nice display (preferrably IPS), and is relatively light (I can handle big laptops, I just don't want to feel like I'm carrying a boulder or something :p) and a nice design (comes last I guess).
Thank you for your time
I'm looking forward for your suggestions!

PS:
IDEAL SPECS
Best Processor(6th Gen i7)
If possible one of the most recent Graphics Cards, minimum 970m
IPS Display (either 15' or 17')
Backlit Keyboard

Price can fluctuate around 2000 euros, I have a margin of around 150 euros, give or take (though I'd prefer not to use that margin)
I've only began to look at customizable options, like Clevo, which are open to future upgrades. That'd also be ok by me, as long as the chassis has a nice design and isn't too bulky.

I suspect many folks won't have a clue about the software you mentioned. I am in construction management and frequently deal with architects, engineers and various related software. I recognized a few products. Some I had to look up.

I am not certain the specific laptop to recommend for you, but here is a some additional information on the hardware requirements of the products you listed. FWIW, my experience with AutoDesk is their products are major resource hogs. In general I'd suggest an i7 processor, 32gb RAM, 1TB SSD and the best graphics card you can get. Also you'll want an IPS screen.

Thanks for the reply! As for the SSD, I doubt there is a laptop at this price range with such a SSD, but I'll keep an eye for it for sure!

On a side note, Nvidia has shown laptops with the new graphics cards, and I've got my eyes on the new GS62/GS72 Stealth Pros, though I'm not sure how much they will cost on release. I'm willing to spend a bit more money, I just don't know how much more it would be.

By hardcore gaming, I meant spending a long time playing (ideally), and that's plugged in. I dont see why it's oxymorons, since I've been doing that with my old laptop for the past 8 years. Although, if you understood it like I'll be playing really intensive games, then I guess I can understand what you meant.
