Think i should wait longer??

I have a 7800 gtx 256mb. You think its worth upgrading to the 7900 gtx or even a x1900xt? will i see a difference? should i wait a few more months for another new series to come out, then make a decision? Im big on graphics, and i dont know how well a 7800 gtx wil perform with games like elder scrolls 4 and so on with the graphics max with NO slow down or very minimum slow down. thanks-Belial

i say you should wait, price youd pay for 7900 wouldn't worth the upgrade.

Maybe couple months later, if you have an sli mobo, you could buy another 7800, if you need more performance.

But its your money and your taste.

Yah, thats what i was thinking...:- but im picky when it comes to games...i know i can max them all out...but ofcourse theres the dreaded loss of framerates...and since im picky...that is a huge annoyance to me. :-

if you have unlimited budget then sure get a 7900gtx or x1900xtx but normal sane minded person will just stick with the 7800gtx (at least for now)
the upgrade isnt worth it and you should still be able to play oblivion fine on most resolutions but nobody will know till the game comes out (unless you're the developer lol)

when should the 8 series card come out? Last I heard was june, also is nvidia good on releasing on the set release date?

Definately wait... unless you need every fps you can squeeze out of the very latest hardware...
