hey,

i bought my new gpu 3 weeks ago (Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3060 Ti EAGLE 8G 2.0) and on a video i saw the guy was running 144 fps on rust on max settings where i get like 60/70 fps. anyone know what it could be.
its not only rust just bought New World and have a feeling its not running as good as it could. is it my GPU or is maybe my CPU bit weak?
specs:

Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3060 Ti EAGLE 8G 2.0

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s)

16 gb ram 2 x 8

motherboard: MSI Z3070-a pro

and got windows 10 home

thanks in advance

First of all, don't trust every YouTube video you see. Most lie or upload the best of the best results they get.

Second, you don't have the same...

Can you open cpu-z and tell us what clock speed it's running at? And what resolution are you using?

First of all, don't trust every YouTube video you see. Most lie or upload the best of the best results they get.

Second, you don't have the same system, bios, drivers, windows updates or even game updates. At what resolution are you playing?

Your CPU is not exactly top of the line, maybe when it was new but certainly not now. It does play a huge role for the fps.

Did you use DDU to remove previous drivers and install new? If not, you are advised to do so, following this guide:

What is the exact make and model of your PSU?

Run a userbenchmark and post the link to the results here.

thx for all the reactions.
did what u said uninstalled the driver and such but did not help.
i had to buy a new psu for this gpu cause my old psu did not have a 8 pin for my gpu so i got this psu with the gpu.

Gigabyte GP-P750GM 750W PSU

got a ASUS screen 1080x1920

and here are some screen shot of some benchmarks and stuff.

this is my userbenchmark:

and cpu-z:
