Thinking of purchasing a x1600 pro 512

I have been looking everywhere for benchmarks on this card and have not been able to find any. I currently have a x800xl. Would this be a good upgrade or no? I have heard that even though the 1600 has 512mb ram it is slower then a lot of cards and my 800xl may even beat it. The other card I was looking at was the 1800xl, but thats also $50.00 more. Any one have any suggestions?

The X1600 pro, despite the completely useless 512 Mb it has, would be a bit slower than a 6600GT. Memory size is there to fool people.

I wouldn't recommend the card to anyone.

Ya thats what I have been seeing, so then my next question would it be worth it to upgrade to the 1800xl over my current x800xl?

x1800xl would be a big improvement over you x800xl. I just upgraded from and x800xl to an x1800xt and am 30-50 fps better in conterstrike source in game play while running a higher resolution than i did with my x800xl. So and x1800xl should be 20-40 fps better.
