Thinking of upgrading CPU

Built my computer (first one ever) back in October 2009. In these years of owning and using this computer every single day, I've made very few changes to my setup - actually, I've only made one change! I bought a new GPU last year. Anyway, I was wondering what processor ya'll could recommend to me based on my current setup. I really don't have a desire, currently, to replace my mother board. I think there is still some room to [cheaply] upgrade what I currently have without building an entire new machine.

Here's what I've got...

Antec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Antec CP-850 850W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.3 / EPS12V V2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Logitech 920-000969 G19 Keyboard with Color Display

RAZER DeathAdder 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Precision Optical Gaming Mouse with Blue Light LED

Anyway, the gist of my thread is, based on my setup and motherboard, what processor would do me justice over the i7 920?

Thanks!!!

Uh LGA 1366 is pretty much EOL now, you'll mostly find Intel xeons using that socket but they're usually expensive af and would probably not suit your needs. I've searched a while and most other processor's that fit your socket are also really expensive. Here's an example http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-950-Socket-LGA1366-Processor/dp/B002A6G3V2
So if you're willing to spend a lot of money you can go ahead and get something like above but you might even save some money getting a new motherboard and then a new cpu with the same performance but more upgrade possibilities for later on. Your choice though.
