So I purchased a thinkserver ts140 to use as a desktop. It seemed like a great deal and a few people on the reviews said they were using for windows 7. Well I put in the disc and it loads up but no drives show up to install it on. Then I go to the bios and no drives show up in the sata ports. Can someone please help me. I tried two different drives and two different sata cables so its unlikely to be hardware on my end. The cd rom sata port works and I even tried to use that port for the ssd and hdd but still nothing. I have tried achi and ide mode and nothing. I really have no clue what I am doing wrong. Thanks for any help.
