This is a reference image, not my own but its the same, the lines in the power consumption and 8pin all the way up to power draw, in that moment while in game I suffer from a microstutter, I changed my pc to another position and now its plugged directly to the wall I believed this was the issue maybe connected from an extension to an UPS maybe it was not delivering the power, now I plugged the pc to the wall and still the same, This used to happen with my last gpu as well I used to have rx 6800. Now I have an RTX 3080. believing it was the gpu I sold it and bought this one. What I did now is that I removed my cablemods from PSU to GPu and only using the PSU cables to power up the 3080 and the readings appears to be more stable, but what if this continues happening? what is this? why does this happens? why it affects power delivery readings?

Hello boss sorry for the late response, I was suffering from microstuttering on the ryzen pc and changed all my components to intel i7 10700k and Rtx 3080 this is the 3rd gpu i have in a span of 1 year, first having a 3070 and felt stutters and changed to an rx 6800 felt stutters and now changed to rtx 3080 my conclusion is that it has never been my gpus, now with my current rtx 3080 paired with intel i7 10700k there is minor stuttering but it still happens, when monitoring gpuz the stuttering occurs when this lines register on the graph that appears to be some kind of loss of power because they appear on the 8pin values and power draw etc, I have removed the cable mods extensions on my pc and was playing yesterday world war z and...

what are the specs?
I had ryzen 7 3700x
asrock velocita b550
Rx 6800 (non xt)
gskill trident neo 3600
sk hynix 500gb
seagate barracuda 2tb
evga supernova 750 platinum

microstutters happened,

now changed to

i7 10700k
Asus rog Z490F
Rtx 3080 EVGA FTW ultra
G skill trident neo at 3600
the same..
microstutter still happens. and in gpuz this lines appears with the rx 6800 and now with the rtx 3080. image is for reference this is not my image from my gpuz screen, unplugged the cable mods from psu to gpu and it appears more stable but i dont know.

so i assume you're using the i7 one as main pc, correct? and you're trying to get away the microstuttering in the i7 pc, correct?

try this step by step (read until end):
  • Disconnect from internet
  • Uninstall gpu driver DDU (clean and do not restart).
  • Uninstall all the processors on device manager (should be 16 on yours, also when it asks for restart, click on no) like this:
    unknown.png
  • Update the ME Firmware, then Restart the pc to bios, and update to the latest bios. Then go to bios again after update and load default or optimized settings.

  • boot up to windows and install the latest Chipset driver, reboot and connect to internet.

  • Install the latest nvidia driver.

*do this all offline until reboot after installing chipset driver, also you may reboot to bios after all of this to set the XMP (and previous settings you did) and make sure ram is on slot 2 and 4 if you use 2 sticks. Download needed files (highlighted word) before doing step 1, do the step by orders.

  • And check windows update (and optional updates) if there is any and install them. Also enable Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling (available on the latest win 10 update) in graphics settings like this and reboot:
    unknown.png
Make sure the psu connected to the gpu is 1 pcie cable per 1 slot (use main cable, not the branches/split) like this:

I will most definetly try this as soon as i arrive home!, I do have variable refresh rate on graphic settings and also the accelerated hardware gpu setting on!, my Z490 asus rog bios are up to date! and yes GPU is not daisy chained!! by 3 pci cables, 3080 uses 3, i do have DDU on my computer so i will try all this other options and will reply back to you with any update! thanks a lot!

Run CMD as admin, do this command:
For ssd: defrag (ssd drive/partition letter) /d /u v then defrag (ssd drive/partition letter) /l /o /u /v
For hdd: defrag (hdd drive/partition letter) /d /o /u /v

let the process do its own until finished
Update : unplugging the FRONT USB 3.0 cable from the motherboard seems to instafix the issue :v
