I know several questions have been asked about this, but this one is different. Im using a Dell All in One that has an intel wireless AC 3165 card. Nowhere on Intel's website do they say anything about WiDi concerning this card, but i have been able to cast the screen from my Galaxy s9 US version using SmartThings before. Nothing has changed in the system. No factory resets, no drivers, nothing. All the sudden, a few months and a few windows updates later, Windows 10 no longer allows me to cast. Any suggestions?

The AC 3165 card. is WIFI, nothing to do with WIDI which Intel stopped developing in 2013. Miracast can do the streaming from androids but works with monitors designed to receive wireless transmissions. These are few. Were you using Smart View ? Smart Things runs home automation lights, fridges, whatever.

I use smart things. The smart things app controls most casting to desktop
