The issue may reside with your USENET provider (or a another). Often, they run
programs like Colt 45 which will automatically issue cancel requests to
the message if you post to a certain group. The issue is probably that
you crossposted to a group that does not allow crossposting ... and thus
a CANCEL message was automatically issued against your post. Some
providers ignore CANCEL requests and some do not. Check out
allnews.readfreenews.net (use port 120 or 80) as a source of text and
you will see text archives in USENET that does not honor cancel requests
(and thus, your message will probably be there).
