I know this problem occurs frequently, but I have found no solution online. I am trying to update my graphics drivers(GTX970) via geforce experience. Every time i do this, it always says ""This NVIDIA Graphics Driver is not compatible with this version of windows.". I have made sure in every possible way that my windows 10 64bit Home is updated beyond version 1511, to be exact my windows version is 1709. I have used nvidias manual driver installer, still no luck. I am completely stumped at this point.

Solution
most likely your current windows build/system files are corrupt. best way to update windows is through the tool below. this will "override" whatever update errors you have in your current windows version and clean your system files to its original. just click on "update now". on your desktop. choose keeps apps and personal data. this will take awhile. but you can still use your computer while its updating windows for you. then restart.

you can also try this method. download DDU. restart in safemode. run DDU to clean your nvidia drivers. restart to normal mode. install the latest nvidia driver. restart.

make sure you have the latest drivers as well from your motherboards...

make sure you have the latest drivers as well from your motherboards support site. starting with your chipset drivers.
