I'm trying to install Windows 11 onto my PC, but when I try to do it I get the error message "This PC can't run Windows 11" The parts list is below:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3600X
Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
Memory: 2x Gskill Trident Z 32GB
GPU: Radeon RX 580
Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

I haven't been able to format the SSD to NTFS yet, so that may be the problem. Does anyone know if there are other issues with this build that I'm not seeing?

UPDATE

I followed the BIOS instructions (thank you to everyone who posted), and I have made progress in my installation. I selected the Custom installation option, since this PC does not have Windows 10 on it, and I got to the "Where do you want to install Windows?" screen. I selected the large partition on my SSD (Drive 0, Partition 2 if that matters), and Windows says "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one". What do I do now?

How are you trying to install windows 11 ?
From inside windows 10 ?
Or by booting from windows install media USB flash drive?

Windows 11 requirements are:
UEFI mode enabled in BIOS
Secure boot enabled,
TPM enabled.
I am booting from a Windows 11 USB. This is a new build, so I can't do it inside any OS right now.

Did you enable fTPM in the BIOS? It's under security > trusted computing.

Also as mentioned above boot mode should be UEFI. You shouldn't need to enable secure boot, but you will need to enable Windows 10 WHQL Support.
I can't say I've ever messed with that setting, so I'll check it the next time I boot up.

Yeah, just need to enable the things suggested in bios.

What bios revision you on?

The following bios revision changes the default setting for secure boot. Probably TPM as well, to be Win11 compatible. Win11 looks for these settings prior to installing and you'll get that error if not enabled.

    - Update to AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7.- Change the default setting of Secure Boot.

Don't need to update bios, the settings are already there to be turned on. Newer manufactured release of that motherboard would have Win11 appropriate bios already applied so people can install it without making bios adjustments.
