This PSU ok for this cpu/mobo? I am on a super tight budget. This PSU is £38 or so. PSU calcu said i need 508Watts so this should be ok right? Also does it have enough connectors? I have a 750ti which need power too.

Thanks for reply. Can you recommend something form this site www.ebuyer.com for around the same price? I cant find XFX there. Also i need 508watts and this one have only 430w or maybe i misunderstand something. tyvm Turkey 😀

I have the stock Dell studio XPS 8300 PSU. and the card is have is the Asus 750ti OC edition. This model has a 6pin power connection

Sorry im not great at this kinda stuff. I got my approx wattage require from using an online PSU calculator where you put in your cpu/gfx card and other components. Did i not do it correctly then? Cheers

He said it had two, not that you'll be using two.

I agree with turkey. You won't be using anywhere near 500W. My I7 3770K and R9 280 uses only around 300W, no way your system with a 750TI uses 500+. While there are better options the one you picked shouldn't blow up or cause you problems.

Just because the 6-pin cable's rating is 75W doesn't mean the card will actually require that high of power. No 750Ti will require that high of wattage.

ok guys i think i have an issue with my old PSU. it only has a 4-pin ATX cable and the new motherboard needs an 8-pin i believe. So i'll have to get a new PSU. I like new shiny things :)
