What do you guys think about this monitor Optix G24C 23.6in Curved FHD 144Hz VA LED LCD w/ FreeSync

And will this work with my nvidia GPU 1060 6rgb

It will work with that gpu but due to VA panel you might see ghosting effect because VA panels have too slow response time .

So the Freesync won’t matter? I heard this monitor supports nvidia so MSI announced

Yes it supports gsync but it cannot decrease monitor response time . What gsync does is it matches your monitor's frame rate to the frame rate given by the gpu . You will get ghosting effect on almost every VA panel monitors that's why TN & IPS are more preferred when it comes to gaming.

That monitor will be fine. With the last couple driver versions the Nvidia 1000 and 2000 series support FreeSync(some better than others).
