Buying new pc rig (Skylake) in a week or so, and I wanted to know if I needed any important replacements.
I tried to choose quality since I have the money to pay for QUALITY.

The Build Budget is at highest the current specs:

GPU: ASUS gtx 1070 STRIX (no stock OC)
MOBO: ASUS Z170-PRO (Mainly took this since it had most stuff I needed and for the looks)
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2 ((650 Watt) I don't need more than this and I went for Platinum even though it's so pricey)
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k (I know it's overkill for gaming, but I may need it for other things)
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4-2133 16GB (Took these for looks and for fastest ram and lowest price)
CASE: NZXT Phantom 820 (I debated about h440 and this. Took 820 for the space and airflow)
CPU COOLER: be quiet! Dark Rock 3 (Silent and good for overclocking)
STORAGE: Already Have

I would have to disagree, it's 30~ usd more (My country) and it has way slower process speed. Also you would not even need that extra MHz.

Few notes. First, I would like to warn you about the strix. It is quite possibly the best GPUs you can get for overclocking. However, there have been a lot of quality issues recently so make sure you have a warranty if you decide to buy it. Second, you might want to change you power source to gold and use the money saved to buy a 1080 instead of 1070. A low cost 1080 should theoretically be around the same price as a 1070 strix with platinum power supply. Good luck on your build. :)

Thanks for the tips.

I checked the prices in my country for 1080 + gold vs 1070 + platinum, and it was 170usd cheaper to get 1070 + platinum. Not only that 1080 is 50% more exensive than 1070, but only gives 25~ more perfomance. Easy math done and it's NOT worth.

Well I ain't from the US either. I'm from Denmark.
