Thoughts on a new GPU AUD$ 400-450

Hi,

I just RMA'd my faulty GPU & PSU to get $425 credit @ PC Case Gear. I'm keen on the best GPU in terms of in game performance and possibly future SLI/Crossfire.

atm I'm thinking the MSI R9 290 4GB twin frozr IV which is $450

If your going AMD I recommend either the SAPPHIRE TRI-X OC R9 290 or a XFX double dissipation R9 290 as they seem to be getting good reviews and keep cool, well cool as your going to get the R9 290 on air. I like the R9 280x myself as it all anyone needs for 1080p gaming. the HIS iPower IceQ X² R9 280X is on sale from newegg

Really thinking about the MSI card.. Ive read that the gigabyte windforce has better cooling BUT i had a gigabyte card that failed and now im thinking about steering clear

So was the link I gave suitable. If so I reckon a Sapphire as it is the best. Or an Asus or MSI or any of those but keep in mind that Sapphire is the best for Radeon cards especially the 290.
