Thoughts on computer for editing?

This is a computer I'm thinking of building. I'm mainly going to be using it for rendering videos on Sony Movie Studios. I'd like to know your thoughts and what can be improved. This is right on my budget but I could probably stretch it to £400

More cores, I'd go at least I7 or get an older used octacore processor (some of them could be cheap used).
More ram. 8Gb isn't enough IMO.

But on that budget it isn't super easy.

This £400 build will give you much more cpu power (+ cores and clock), more RAM (really important) and better SSD.

Buying used CPUs still have a risk attached to them.

For that budget I second a fx and with a little overclock you will be able to edit/render just fine however you will need a mobo with integrated graphics.

You are absolutely right. I modified the build to includes a entry-level gpu and exchange the SSD+HD storage setup for the next best thing: a hybrid HD. I kept the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P because its really good for overclock.
