The value proposition is what I worry about here.
While the 7900X is no doubt the best atm, and I don't want to sound like a broken record; there's simply no proposition for it to be made what with a 1700 running 16 threads for less than half the price, and far cheaper mobos and threadripper coming out soon which will offer much better value for money as well as PCIE lanes and quad channel memory which should be nice.
It all depends what @OP plans to use the rig for. At that price point SLI 1080 Tis is pretty much a must though, which is another thing.
