Solution
The build is fine.
The motherboard supports XMP profiles which would get you to 2400 speed.
It is a moot point, the ram will boot at 2133 which is indistinguishable from 2400 or even faster .

Be on the lookout for a bios update that will allow i3-6100 BCLK overclocking.
Asrock has announced that, and I imagine ASUS will follow.

FWIW.
I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games. If you can go 240gb, you may never need a hard drive.

I would defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large files such as video's.
It is easy to add a hard drive later.
Samsung EVO is a good choice.
Intel 730 is OK too.
The components are well matched, it is a good budget PC.
If you are gaming focused, I would consider a gtx 960 instead of 950 as it would give a major graphics performance improvement
If you don't really use the machine for gaming, I would stick with onboard graphics, and buy a Samsung 850 EVO SSD
If you want to save cash, buy a cheaper case - there are many on Amazon for $40 which are OK to use - pick one with good customer reviews

2400mhz doesn't support that cpu..
u need to overclock the cpu to do so which u cnt...
so 2133 or 1866 speed should be enough...

if go for a evga supernova gs550W one its a tier 1 psu which is high quality ...

and yeah if ur main intension is gaming 960 2gb or a xfx or power colour 380 4gb is a better option.. I'd go with the 380 4gb

the power supply is $0.00, so he has already purchased it. A supernova would be better, but the one he has should be fine.
2400 memory will run OK at lower speeds supported by the CPU, but 2133 memory is indeed a whole $2 cheaper

2400 doesn't support the cpu.. he needs to over clock the cpu to make them work.. if he had the asrock new z series mobo he could've done that cuz they are meant to overclock non k processor.. if he did bought the psu made a bad mistake ... if not tier 1 is the best to go with...
