Thunderbolt Port Blockage

I just tried to plug something into my thunderbolt port for the first time. It did not go in. What is in the way?

Is there anyway to fix this without removing the motherboard?

That looks like a metal prong piece of the Mobo IO cover that it suppose to be pushing the eh port form the outside. I actually did the same thing with my IO cover on my HDMI and DP ports, but luckily I dont plan on using them so no issue.

You'll have to take apart your PC and reposition your Mobo correctly to fix it.

The little tab outlined in red should be on the inside.
