Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask what CPU a better pair for RX 6600 is. I'm currently choosing between Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 5 5500. I'm also open for other suggestions and I'm on a tight budget Hehe. I'm not a very techy person but I've seen that the 3600 is a good pair for the RX 6600 and I'm here to confirm if is it really that good for the GPU. anyway, All I do is gaming and some coding. I also don't plan on upgrading my GPU in the future. Thank you, guys!

The 3600 and the 5500 are almost identical in performance. Go with the one with better pricing and compatibility with motherboard without need for a BIOS update. Pick a motherboard with BIOS support for 5xxx series for later.
Thank you sir. I think I'll just go with the 3600. The 3600 cost 80 USD while the 5500 is 100 USD. Btw sir, which mobo should I go for?
the GIGABYTE B550M DS3H or the ASROCK B550M-HDV? the asrock one is a 20 USD cheaper sir.
and still I'm not planning on upgrading both the CPU and GPU.

Between those two it doesn't matter which one performance wise, just look at what equipment suits you better. I would prefer that Gigabyte MB because of that.

As a general rule don't buy bottom end ASRock due to their poor VRM design and this board is definitely not an exception to that rule. It looks like pretty much every model they sell which is higher than that has better power delivery.

From these 2, which one should I buy?? the GIGABYTE B550M DS3H or the ASROCK B550M PRO4. They have the same price here in my country. Which one should I go for?
