Question Time for an upgrade?

MB: Sabertooth 990fx
CPU: amd fx-8370
GPU: 1080 ti waterforce
RAM: 24gb ddr3

I bought this stuff about 2 months ago, the gpu today. I should researched more, because I can't upgrade that much with a socket type that is 10 years old. I want to upgrade, but idk what to get for a price that won't break the bank. I'd like to game on it and use it for regular work.

my budget right now would be $300. I could definitely push it further, but its just a thought right now since I bought my current set-up fairly recently. I might have to wait a while till the market finally calms down

But that money could have been added to the 300 you're talking about now, for a system that is viable in 2021.
